The League of Innovative Students (LOIS), a program of Digital Promise’s Center for Inclusive Innovation, provides a platform for high school students to become catalysts for change. Through LOIS, students have the opportunity to work alongside district leaders, edtech product developers, and education researchers in addressing some of the nation’s most persistent challenges in schools.

At the heart of LOIS is the belief that students should not only be recipients of education, but also active contributors in shaping the future of the education landscape. Join us for a conversation featuring students from the spring 2024 LOIS cohort exploring how organizations, schools, and teachers can effectively support and encourage student-led initiatives, focusing on research and development (R&D) projects. In this edWebinar, you will:

  • See successful examples of student voice and agency embedded into R&D initiatives
  • Learn why increasing student involvement in R&D strengthens student agency and bolsters engagement
  • Hear directly from students on why they believe in a culture of student leadership and innovation

This edWebinar will be of interest to K-12 teachers, school leaders, district leaders, and education technology leaders. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
